We wanted to highlight the coffee used in this spirit, and during a well-caffeinated brainstorm session referred to the region slangily as HueHue – the rest is history. Unlike wine, rum does not mature in the bottle. An unopened bottle of Hue-Hue rum stored properly (upright and away from sunlight and extreme temperatures & humidity) will last indefinitely, no refrigeration necessary.
+ Is Hue-Hue Coffee Rum gluten-free?
Yes. Distilled spirits are gluten-free, including rum. Gluten can be added back to the rum in the form of malt extract or certain caramel colorings. Eastside does not add these ingredients back into the spirit.
